These charming and delightful pieces are from the earliest music published for flutes by the Parisian publisher Pierre Attaingnant. Composers include Claudin de Sermisy, Heurter, Gombert and Vermont.

Score and parts are edited with a preface on the historical background, playing style and technique of the renaissance flute by Nancy Hadden.

The aim of Zephyrus Music is to make 16th, 17th and 18th century music available for players of both historical and modern flutes. Editions are scholarly, informative, practical and user-friendly. Score and parts are available with transposed parts where needed (eg. modern alto and bass flute parts).
